#HeforShe
Best thing I have heard since a long time. It takes a 1000 Lean In Circles to form one such #HeforShe. Women should understand that it is not a battle, but a war. We can give up easily because it is the ‘way’, ‘how things work’, ‘majority’. But the more we try to swim against the current, the more we believe in ourselves, the more chances we have, of being heard. It is okay to feel left out, weird, worn out in each battle. Get up, speak up & keep running, because it is a WAR. We are breaking rock solid stereotypes and it isn’t easy at all. It demands support, but support arises only when we try hard ourselves. The world will hear us. Men will, too. After all, we are meant to co-exist, aren’t we?
Feminism needs more men in it. Thank you men in Singapore.
