Instincts don’t work always. Somewhere in our heads we are programmed to settle for mediocrity, because we have security in the name of “men”. That’s not our instinct, that’s just escapism from the fear of taking charge of our lives. Fight against it, stand up and say “the life is mine, what do I achieve?”. For men, the desire to achieve is prewired because of the “need” to take care of themselves & their family.. For us, society agrees that achieving is an option.. Are we doing a bad job in building ourselves and the world by escaping our fears?

Quoting a friend’s saying, post contextualizing it to the situation — “Your mothers grew up, got married, gave birth to you, spent their lives for you, raised you and felt that achievement is seeing you achieve .. Not sure if they will want you to do just that”

Face your fears.
